Mitchell's Turangawaewae

Te Paki dunes

Golden sands
Moulded by wild west coast winds
Soft shapes of a sand dune
Stretching on for miles
Immense dunes
Scorched by the sun
Endless adventure in between mounds of sand

Whites Bay
Welcome yourself to a world of paradise.
Land of warmth
Tramping through my own world
Shining shores
Burning sand as you dash into the sea
Colourful bush filled with an abundance of creatures
Sea drenched people, sandy people.
Shingling rocks shiny as the sun
Pebbles throughout the water
Scattered like dice on the sea of fortune
Crabs nibbling on your feet
Underscored beaches waiting to be discovered

Touch Rugby
What you will need:
rugby ball, two teams of six, a ref and a touch field.
1. Start in the middle of the field with the ball on the ground then tap the ball with your foot. Then pick up the ball and go.

2. Run with the ball then when you get touched go back to the place where you got touched and roll the ball under your legs.

3. When you get to the tryline place the ball firmly on the ground and its a try.

4. When you make a touch you have to move back five meters until the dummy
picks up the ball.

5. Listen to the ref and you’ll be sweet.
